AF-GL® work in criogenic temperatures (- 197°C)

The tests carried out at the Wrocław University of Technology confirm the work of seals made of the AF-GL sealing plate at low temperatures. Tightness tests were carried out under the influence of liquid nitrogen, i.e. - 197 ° C. After cooling, the gasket installed in the joint maintained very high tightness at the level of 10-4 mg / m * s (at the 50MPa terminal and the internal pressure of the medium 20bar).

Gambit AF - GL® gasket plate is a unique composite made of glass fibers and kevlar ® fibers, bonded with an oil - proof NBR rubber with a high content of acrylonitrile.

The material is resistant to, among others, fuels, oils, water and steam, salt solutions and solutions of weak acids and bases.
